Terms of Service for Furoa

1. Description of Service

Furoa is a manual investment tracking tool designed to help users track the transactions of their stock and cryptocurrency portfolios. The App provides features such as Profit/Loss calculation, income tracking (dividends/rewards), and portfolio visualisation.

2. No Financial Advice

The App is provided for informational and personal tracking purposes only. The information and calculations provided by the App (including, but not limited to, cost basis, realised profit/loss, and total value) depend entirely on the manual data input provided by you.

• Not Professional Advice: We are not a financial advisor, broker, or tax professional. The App does not constitute financial, investment, tax, or legal advice.
• Your Responsibility: You are solely responsible for your financial decisions. You must verify all information and calculations before making any financial decisions or filing your taxes.

3. Data Privacy and Storage

Furoa is designed as a private, local-first application.

• Local Storage: By default, all data you enter into the App is stored locally on your device.
• iCloud Synchronisation: If you choose to enable iCloud, your data is encrypted and stored in your private iCloud account, as managed by Apple.
• No Developer Access: We do not have access to, collect, or store any of your personal financial portfolio data on our servers.
• Backups: You are solely responsible for the backup and security of your data (e.g., via Apple Device Backups or the App's export feature). We are not responsible for any data loss that may occur if your device is lost or damaged.

4. Subscriptions and Billing (Furoa PRO)

Furoa offers an optional “PRO” subscription that unlocks advanced features.

• Billing: All payments are processed securely by Apple via your iTunes/App Store account.
• Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
• Cancellations: You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID Account Settings at any time.
• Refunds: As all billing is handled by Apple, we cannot process refunds directly. Please contact Apple Support for any billing disputes.

5. Intellectual Property

We own all rights, title, and interest in and to the App, including its name, logo, design, and source code. You may not copy, modify, or reverse-engineer the App.

6. Limitation of Liability

The App is provided "as-is" and "as-available," without any warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the developers of Furoa shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, resulting from:

• Your use of the App or your inability to use the App.
• Any errors, inaccuracies, or bugs in the App's calculations or data.
• Any financial losses you may incur from using the App or relying on its data.
• Any data loss or corruption.

7. Modifications to the App

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the App (or any part thereof) at any time with or without notice. We shall not be liable to you or to any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the App.

8. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms on this page or within the App settings. Your continued use of the App after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
